CPC101992 358.DOC Complete FAX/Gateway Requirements for Using CFAX/G on a Network This document is provided as "For your information" and as is. Before you install CFAX/G for use on your local area network, you must have the following: An IBM or 100% compatable PC running DOS version 3.1 or higher, to be used as a network workstation. A Novell local area network (version 2. 1 or higher) installed and running properly. A MHS installed and running properly. MHS must be running on either the dedicated MHS server, or on the CFAX/G server, but can only be installed on one computer on the network. A MHS compatible E-mail application, installed and running properly. An IBM PC or 100% compatible with at least 640K of memory as the dedicated fax server, with a CFAX/Gateway fax board installed. The CFAX/G software must be installed on this server. Dedicated CFAX/G Server Requirements The requirements for the computer used as the dedicated CFAX/G server are listed below. Your local area network may already be up and running with some or all of the hardware listed. IBM PC/XT/AT- or 100% compatible DOS 3.1 or higher Minimum 10 Mbyte hard disk Minimum 640K of RAM CGA, EGA, VGA, or Hercules compatable video card Novell network interface card installed CFAX/Gateway fax card installed
